Thanks for restarting ssh. Although it allowed to cope with the
immediate problem, the solution is not to restart ssh but to restart lsh.
rm /var/log/lshd.pid ; /etc/init.d/lsh start.
Since you're not the only one making this mistake, I'll change
the /etc/init.d/ssh script so that it displays a reminder.
I'm very concerned by lsh now dying without issuing any kind of
message. In the past lsh died but left a message in syslog which allowed
us to debug it with the author. I'm not sure what we should do now. I'll
ask Niels Moller for advice.
