A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
Venkata Prasad Reddy <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License: It\'s the GNU General Public License V2 ot later
Package: iMail
System name: imail
This package does NOT want to apply for inclusion in the GNU project
My project, the iMail, is intented to be a complete mailing system supporting
the ISCII encoding. It would have a editor based on ISCII which would be
common for all the languages, for which the ISCII-Glyph maps are available...
current most of the indian languages do have it. The other features of this
project include the transliteration(this is obvious when using ISCII) between
the indian languages and the English. The supported protocol would be SMTP and
POP3... and later the support of IMAP would be added.
This project uses the KDE libraries and is being done under the GPL.
It is not yet ready, but a planned one on which some of us would be working.
