A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
Julien MOUTTE <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: SQL Load Balancer
System name: sqlb
This package does NOT want to apply for inclusion in the GNU project
Our project is called SQL Load balancer (SQLB), it was registered on Source
Forge, but we don\'t like the way things are moving with VA Linux.
That\'s why we would like to register SQLB on savannah to go on with our
project development
SQLB is a daemon providing a database interface to others programms (C,
PHP,...). It gets queries from this programms and then try to send them to
persistent database connection load balancing the queries. It actually supports
Mysql, Postgresql, Oracle and we are using it on all our platforms.
It is quite stable even if i\'m trying to fix some memory leaks at the moment
:=)
Hope this is enough for now
