A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden

Bernd Sokolowsky <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: gwyple
System name: gwyple
This package does NOT want to apply for inclusion in the GNU project

gwyple is a GUI, implemented in Perl and Perl/TK, for handling
bugreports. These bugreports usually come in by email, are stored
away by some helper script called from procmail, and can then be
handled by gwyple independently from the used bugtracking system.

This can prove useful for users that have to manage great quantities
of such mails from different sources. A mailreader doesn\'t have
an understanding about the contents of such mails, and therefore
has only very limited capabilities for sorting and filtering.

This software was not available to the public until now. It can
be seen at http://shell.franken.de/~ulmo/gwyple/ .

The current state is that it supports ClearDDTS quite well and
is fully functional for that. The next steps will be to clean up
the interface and make it more easily extensible. The framework
for this is partly in place already. The second supported bugtracking
system will perhaps be the Debian BTS.
