1. It is not a bug. It is documented. Feel free to report it
to the Mailman folks.

2. Maybe reading Mailman documentation would help you. You
chose 'yes' to 'umbrella list'. An umbrella list is a list
whose subscribers are only mailing lists, hence the -owner
thing.

Ok, thanks. I consider this closed, although:

1. is a bug, and should be fixed. It could easily state "No
archived messages yet" rather than "File not found"

2. I still don't understand the relationship between
"password reminders" and being able to post; Maybe some help
text on that page, or better description and defaults.

3. It appears to work
