This package wants to apply for inclusion in the GNU project

The IRISNET GroupZope project consist in building a web based 
groupware system using the zope application server that has the 
follwing charaterictics:

 * it is free software released as GPL
 * it is fully compliant with the Zope Content Management 
Framework (see http://cmf.zope.org) 
 * all pieces are components (products in the zope terminology)
that are plug-and-play
 * it offers (to start with)
   * a webmail
   * shared calendars
   * a browsable directory 
   * an customizable workflow system compatible with the workflow 
coalition guidelines (see http://www.wfmc.org/standards/standards.htm)
   * a web publication system compatible with the other components 
does this and this and will do that and that.

This is developped by the French company Nuxeo (http://www.nuxeo.com) 
on a contractual basis with the Region of Brussels-Capital, under an 
initiative of the Minister-President François-Xavier De Donnea.

The project is managed by the Centre d\'Informatique de la Région de
Bruxelles-Capitale (CIRB, see http://www.irisnet.be) and is offered 
as a service to the communes of the Region of Brussels-Capitals (and 
also to everyone else who want to use that piece of free software)

The project start by mid February 2002 and should be finished (ie. 
operationnal) by Mid September 2002.
