A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden

Jonathan M. Gardner <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: BattleTech: Total Control
System name: bttc
This package does NOT want to apply for inclusion in the GNU project

BattleTech: Total Control is an implementation of the once-popular game of
BattleTech for the PC, both Windows, and Linux. It is coded in Python and
C/C++. It is based on Qt and PyQt, as well as OpenGL, and the PyOpenGL. Qt for
windows is not free, but neither is windows.

There are several components of the game. There is a BattleMech editor, a
vehicle editor, a map editor, as well as a scenario, unit, and game editor.
Finally, there is the actual game, which consists of the client and server.

The actual game of BattleTech was created by FASA Inc. It is now owned by
WizKidsGames. However, this project is only an implementation of the game, and
it will not infringe on the rights of the copyright holders.

This project is already several years old. It exists at SourceForge.Net. After
hearing about SourceForge\'s move to non-free software, I have decided to move
everything over here. You can view the website at http://bttotalcontrol.sf.net/
and the project page at http://sf.net/projects/bttotalcontrol .

Don\'t be afraid to email me - I am happy to answer any questions. I hope by
having my project over here, it will expose GNU to another group of computer
hobbyists.

Thank you!
