A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
Gabriel Bizzotto <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: lgpl
Other License:
Package: jlWindows-C++ javastyle GUIAPI
System name: jlwindows
This package does NOT want to apply for inclusion in the GNU project
jlWindows is a win32 c/c++ lib for creating GUIs with java-style source code.
This lib allows to use the native graphic API (whenever it\'s possible) with an
easy-to-use java-style code.
Some aspects should be managed in a different way of AWT and Swing, like
Events, replaced by messages and callbacks.
A linux version (in order to make the apps using jlWindows crossplatform)
should be planned as soon as jlWindows offers some basic features. If people is
interested in porting the lib to other platforms, it could be great.
The lib is designed to allow network displaying, via a distant server
(something like an x server, or the x protocol if it is open). This feature is
not planned yet.
Today, the lib is almost empty. Some choices were done, few classes exists, but
everything can still be changed.
It does not exist yet but I\'m working on it.
