A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
Dale P. Smith <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: other
Other License: The Guile License.
GNU General Public Licence V2 or later with:
The exception is that, if you link the MOD-GUILE library with other files to
produce an executable, this does not by itself cause the resulting executable
to be covered by the GNU General Public License. Your use of that executable
is in no way restricted on account of linking the MOD-GUILE library code into
it.
This exception does not however invalidate any other reasons why the executable
file might be covered by the GNU General Public License.
Package: mod-guile
System name: mod-guile
This package does NOT want to apply for inclusion in the GNU project
My project embeds Guile Scheme in the Apache web server as an Apache module.
Mod-guile embeds a Scheme intepreter into Apache so you can write web pages in
scheme without using cgi.
It tries to be more like mod_php than mod_perl. It\'s more for creating web
pages than for configuring Apache.
I have been using it since about January 2001, but it\'s not finished yet.
