Please, take a look at

In my point of view, if there are no others relation between
projects but the fact that there are promoted by you
University, you should make a proper project account for any
distinct project.

About PHP, MySQL, savannah dont provide currently this
service. It should be possible if someone set up this and
can support this for 12 month.

I've got some general questions related to savannah.

Me, and a few people at the University of Calgary are
trying to start up an opensource software club. We
want to recruit students to help us improve the
OpenSource movement by targetting specific
needs/application in the OpenSource community.
Because the university won't/can't give us any
computers or servers to help us out, (at least for the
time being), and we need some place to host our
projects, mailling lists, project pages, and information
on how to sign up.

I like savannah and it's idea and would like to use it
to it's fullest capabilities if possible.

As of right now we are still at the recruiting stage, and
are not sure what project we will undertake to begin
with. So my first question is whether we should start a
new project for everything we do? Or should we
have one central project and host everything
underneath it? I would kind of prefer the latter as then
we would have one central place to store stuff.

Next, if we were to want to have some sort of scripts
set up on this site, could we set up sign up forms with
CGI/PHP or is that functionality provided by
Savannah, and if so how could we best utilize it. We
will need to get people's names/email address etc,
and they may or may not have accounts when they
first sign up.

Third, Any suggestions as to places where we could
best make our impact in the opensource community
would be greatly appreciated. We don't yet know
how many people we will be able to recruit so smaller
projects would be ideal.

Thanks for your time and for this effort(the savannah
site).

yours sincerely,
Lakin Wecker
