Carl,
My name's Toby Cabot and I'm one of the GNU project
volunteer coordinators. Thanks for your idea. Please feel
free to subscribe to the hurd developers mailing list and
make the suggestion there. They'll be a lot better equipped
to respond to your proposal than the Savannah administrators.
Thanks,
Toby

I am responsible to teach an OS class. Teaching by
doing and reflecting on what was done. Integration the
OS class with the Hurd development group would be a way
to support the digital commons and
provide know age transfer for modern OS's of the future
such as Hurd. I would like to find some way to use my
time to help in the development of Hurd and at the
same time try create a support structure for peer to
peer
learning that also supports the Hurd.
Having some commented code and being assigned some
tasks related to, that commented code or even being
assigned to comment code as a task, or testing code,
might be some OS problems I could offer to groups of
students in the OS class as a term project.
Please let me know what you think. How I might form
this into a .... hummm distant hurd learning Savanah
project .
