Try to follow the informations here
https://savannah.gnu.org/docs/?item=How_to_upload_my_project.txt

First, you need to have an ssh key registred on savannah.
Once you'll have it, you will be requested for a passphrase
instead of a password.

Basically, do
echo "Protocol 1" > .ssh/config
ssh-keygen
-> with your web browser, go in account maintenance page,
add the content of .ssh/identity.pub in the right place there.
-> wait for the next cron job (6 hour max)
retry to get the CVS root.

Hi,

I have a Linux (Redhat 7.2) system behind my D-Link
firewall (I have a cable modem).

I've created a key and added it to my profile.

I'm having trouble checking out the project I've
offered to help contribute to. I feel like such
a loser. Please help get me started!

% export CVS_RSH=ssh
% cvs address@hidden:/cvsroot/a2ps co a2ps
address@hidden's password: <RETURN>
Permission denied, please try again.
address@hidden's password: "savannah password"
Permission denied, please try again.
address@hidden's password: "ssh-keygen password"
Permission denied (password,publickey).
cvs [checkout aborted]: end of file from server
(consult above messages if any)
%

No matter what I try I cannot get in.
Please help...

Thanks,
/Ed

PS: If someone is in the Boston area and can help in
person, please let me know!
