Well, if the savannah file list command offer command with -p, I need to fix this (but I think this is already done).

We plan to automatically set chmod for files uploaded via scp. So everything should be ok when it will be effective.

Unfortunately, it produces the asme result, despite having no "-p"
option.

My ~/.ssh/config file has only one line in it, "Protocol 1". I can't
think of anything else that I might be doing wrong ... and I don't
seem
to have rsync on my system ...

The reason I used the "-p" option initially was because the "Savannah
File Admin", which created the commands for me, included that option.
If you think it shouldn't be used, perhaps the "Savannah File Admin"
program should be changed?
