Description:
JProject is a Java based project scheduling tool. The objective of this system
is to provide a tool for project managers to assist in the management of
project schedules. The current version provides facilities for the following:
- The creation of projects
- The editing of a project\'s name and start date
- The automatic calculation of a project\'s completion date based on the length
of the critical path through the associated task network.
- The creation and deletion of tasks
- The editing of task names and durations
- The assignment of predecessors for tasks
- The automatic calculation of the earliest start times for tasks based on
their dependencies
Other Software Required:
Sun Java 1.3, JCalendar [GPL]
Development will include:
JDSL [License Agreement Included]
JUnit [Common Public License - also included]
Other Comments:
This project is setup for a university group assignment, I just wanting to see
if approval will happen and if so, if it will allow a good collobrative
software development system to take place.
