A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden

Jeroen van den Berg <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: GNU lcdd
System name: glcdd
Type: 1

Description:
This is a daemon that can receive information from clients, and display it on a
variety of LCD displays.

Clients can send layout/representation hints and data, in XML. The daemon
cycles through all available information, and takes care of localization
issues. Finally, the driver formats and displays the screens, attempting to
make good use of the LCD\'s capabilities.

It does not exist yet but I\'m working on it.

Other Software Required:
Drivers for graphical displays use FreeType 2.1 for font rendering.
