Lyonel Vincent <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: SW
System name: sw
Type: 2
Description:
SW is a software management tool for RPM-based systems.
It is strongly inspired by the SD product (swinstall, swremove, etc.) present
on various commercial UNIX systems (HP-UX ships with SD as a standard) but
tries to give more flexibility.
It allows the use of URLs (without any requirement on the repository than being
browsable using http or ftp) as sources for installation of new software,
includes a powerful method for packages selection and automatically resolve
dependencies & upgrades.
Other Software Required:
RPM
Other Comments:
SW is part of the ezIX environment (http://ezix.org)
