Description:
MGP is a new groupware API for PHP.  This is not a code fork of phpGroupWare, 
although there are similarities.  MGP will have an enhanced ACL allowing for 
domain, server, user/group role-based and shared access control.  This will be 
key in integrating inter-server communications, load-balancing, and/or 
synchronization.

Database interface and html template code is sourced directly from PHPLIB 
(http://phplib.sourceforge.net).  XML-RPC code is from the XML-RPC for PHP 
project (http://sourceforge.net/projects/phpxmlrpc/).  Accounts, authentication 
and sessions classes will be rewrites from phpgw to integrate with the new acl.


Other Software Required:
PHP3 or PHP4 (XML/LDAP optional), Apache 1.X, PGSQL/MySQL/others, Perl 
(optional)
