I have the same problem on the cardpics html CVS:

Checking in news.xml;
/webcvs/non-gnu/cardpics/news.xml,v  <--  news.xml
new revision: 1.3; previous revision: 1.2
cvs [server aborted]: could not open lock file
`/webcvs/non-gnu/cardpics/,news.xml,': Permission denied

Please tell me too about it :)

Hello,
it seems to me that I somehow lost write access to 
the web-cvs tree of the antbear project even though 
the 'edit member permissions' page claims that I do 
have write access.  It used to work fine a few 
weeks ago.

Here's the output when I want to commit some 
modifications:

address@hidden:~/web/antbear/non-gnu$ cvs -z3 commit 
-m "minor changes"
cvs commit: Examining .
cvs commit: Examining antbear
Warning: Remote host denied X11 forwarding.
Checking in antbear/index.html;

And here when I want to add a new file:
