Is grammatically incorrect; "this" is singular while "their"
is plural.
Would you settle for:
This user has set his/her profile to private?

Just a quick suggestion. Maybe consider change the
private message from:
"This user has set his profile to private"
to the gender neuteral:
"This user has set their profile to private"
Not all us geeks are blokes, even though i am.
