They can be attached. Go to your mailing-list administration page in
savannah. Normally, logged in, you should have access to the
"administration" menu line.

There, you'll get a "Attach a Mailing-List link". You just have to
type the listname (as help-texinfo) in the first field and your
mailman password.

Anyway, I done it for you.
