Jason Majors <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: oggcastd
System name: oggcastd
Type: non-GNU
Description:
My project plays Ogg Vorbis and mp3 files. It was designed to be controlled
through a serial based display, so it can be used as a stand alone device as
part of a car stereo or entertainment system.
It consists of:
a tcp daemon that plays the music,
a tcp client that connects to the serial display, getting user input and
displaying track information,
configuration information for the linux kernel and startup scripts to make it
boot quickly,
and some information about the hardware used and how to control it.
It does not exist yet but I\'m working on it.
Other Software Required:
GNU Common C++ (GPL)
Ogg Vorbis libraries (BSD)
eSound (GPL)
glibc, libstdc++, etc.
