A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org

Haakon Nilsen <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: FreeDSL
System name: freedsl
Type: GNU

Description:
FreeDSL is a free re-implementation of JDSL (<URL:http://www.jdsl.org>). JDSL
is a java data structures class library. The FreeDSL project got started after
we had to use JDSL in our exercices for a university course on data structures
and algorithms. We immediately checked out the license,
<URL:http://www.jdsl.org/license.html>, which was so restrictive we couldn\'t
use it in good conscience. The source isn\'t even available to us, which we
consider pretty bad when used in a setting where you\'re supposed to learn
about its inner workings. So we set out cloning JDSL, with the goal of being a
completely free drop-in replacement that students may hack on and learn from.
We strive to keep it legal and clean-room, referring only to the JDSL API
documentation, and not disassembling or the likes which the license prohibits.

FreeDSL does not and will not depend on any non-free software.

After the explanation say:
It does not exist yet but we\'re working on it.

Other Software Required:
A standard Java VM/compiler, including available free ones.
