A package was submitted to savannah.nongnu.org
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden

Mary Marcia Wior <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: Huskey Grrl
System name: huskeymail
Type: non-GNU

Description:
The goal of huskeymail is to create a simplified method of retrieving,
processing, reading, and sending e-mail and usenet for newbie users of unixy
systems like GNU/Linux and Mac OS X. It\'s functionality will be limited to
those tasks frequenlty performed by desktop users - fetching pop3 email,
sending email, reading and posting to usenet, filtering spam from both email
and usenet, sorting email into mailboxes. It will be much simpler to use than
the combination of fetchmail, procmail, sendmail, and rn that is currently
required and is aimed at a new user who wants to try out unix.

It will be split into two parts, a \"server\" and a \"client\" part. The
\"server\" will collect email and news, convert the news into mail, filter the
messages, and send e-mail and posts. The \"client\" will be worked on after
the \"server\" is finished. The goal for the \"client\" part is for it to be
as easy to use as pine, but containing a layer of \'advanced\' features like
\'ignore thread\'.

It is hoped that after a painless experience with huskeymail, people will be
more inclinded to try other, more advanced, free software.

Huskeymail does not exist yet but I\'m working on it with help from Julian
Krause (thecrypto).
