Paul Cannon <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: Gotmail
System name: gotmail
Type: non-GNU
Description:
Gotmail is a perl script to fetch mail out of a Hotmail account. This is
especially useful if you want to move from Hotmail into one of the other free
mail services - one command can do it all. Gotmail also supports getting any
new mail only from your Hotmail account - perfect for using a Hotmail account
as a redirect address into another account.
Gotmail works by downloading Hotmail\'s web pages with curl, and parsing the
relevant information out of them. It features many options for manipulating
Hotmail, such as reading only new messages, marking downloaded messages as
read, deleting messages, downloading messages in different formats or
forwarding them through SMTP servers or procmail, and so on.
It already exists and you can download the latest distribution at
http://ssl.usu.edu/paul/gotmail/gotmail_0.7.5.tar.gz.
Other Software Required:
Perl 5
curl-ssl 6.5.2 or later
The perl URI module from CPAN (liburi-perl debian package)
The perl libnet module from CPAN (libnet-perl debian package)
