Unfortunately, it has been a while since I used 
Savannah's CVS.  I updated my registered keys.  I do
include Protocol 1, along with dss and rsa, which are
unnecessary, but shouldn't hurt.

I include the following lines in my .ssh/config:
Host subversions.gnu.org
Protocol 1

Here's a slogin attempt.  The RSA authentication appears
to be accepted.
