Unix Text Processing (UTP) is a Unix book with an emphasis on using Unix for 
writing and publishing tasks. The UTP Transcription Project has been recreating 
the source code to UTP, using groff and related GNU tools. The current phase 
aims primarily to recreate the original; the indexing is the last step and 
we\'re about halfway through that. The next phase is to modernize UTP, covering 
the extended features provided by groff, gawk, and so forth.

A secondary goal is to link to, or perhaps recreate, replacements for a few 
Documenter\'s Workbench (DWB) utilities mentioned in the UTP.

Other Software Required:
All dependencies are on Free tools.
