Note that I think this only happens when you append to a
support request that you didn't originally lodge.

When I'm logged in with my user id "alexl", and I
update a bug report, my full e-mail address appears in
the "Sender" field, rather than "alexl", which is a
link to my user profile, which is what it has been
doing up until recently.   

The previous behaviour always kept my e-mail address
off the webpages, and have all my "alexl" posts simply
remain as links to http://savannah.gnu.org/users/alexl.
