Christian Meyer <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: libparted++
System name: libpartedpp
Type: non-GNU

Description:
http://savannah.nongnu.org/register/basicinfo.php?re_purpose=libparted++ is a
C++ wrapper for the parted libraries from Andrew Clausen. Currently, it needs
libparted 1.6.x.

The reason why I wrote it is to make life easier for people who want to use
libparted in their C++ programs, i.e. for KDE, Qt and gtkmm based applications.

It uses standard C++ libraries, there\\\'s no toolkit necessary for
compiling/using it. It compiles with gcc 3.x, gcc 2.95.x seems to have problems
with static_cast<>.

At the current stage not all classes are working, but that\\\'ll be fixed ASAP.

A recent version is available at:
http://www.gnome.org/~chrisime/random/files/libparted++.tgz&re_require_sw=gnuparted
 1.6.x

I compiled it with gnuparted 1.6.4 but prior version should also
work.&re_comments=&re_full_name=libparted++&re_unix_name=libpartedpp

NOTICE:
A working version is available at:
http://www.gnome.org/~chrisime/random/stuff/libparted++.tar.bz2
There shouldn\'t be any 404 anymore. Sorry for that.
