Frédéric HENRY <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: NiNaR - NiNaR is Not an Rpg
System name: ninar
Type: non-GNU

Description:
It aims to be a little tactical role-playing game, inspired by games like Final
Fantasy Tactics or Front Mission : players create a team of five characters
(who can, later, evoluate by earning some experience) and two (or maybe more)
teams fight on a 2D battle field.

The game will be on a turn by turn base, with each character moving and doing
an action each turn ; characters will have different abilities, depending on
which \"job\" they have.

The game won\'t provide scenario (at least at first), just the battle system :
a 2 player mode and a player vs cpu mode. This system will be 2D and graphical,
using gtk+.

There are no real sources yet (exact rules are still to be determined), but
http://tuxou.ouvaton.org/ninar/ contains some code which was rather a test of
the rules draft.

Other Software Required:
gtk+
