Hi,
In an attempt to address the possible problem of a deffective
/dev/hda disk (no hard proof), I copied /dev/hda on /dev/hdb so that
/dev/hda is not used anymore. If the problem does not repeat itself (ie
corruption of ext3 partition) in the next few days, I'll try to run
a backblock check on this disk.
Note that /boot/grub/menu.lst still lives on /dev/hda1 because
I was reluctant to run grub-install at this stage. I guess it's a
tolerable usage of /dev/hda. The swap partition of /dev/hda is not used.
Cheers,
