Dave Brondsema <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: Multi-CMS
System name: multicms
Type: non-GNU

Description:
This content management system (CMS), like many others, aims to provide an easy
interface for website administrators to provide and update content for their
website. It will address two particular features that (as far as I know) are
not available in any other CMSs.

1) complete multi-lingual support. for example, an article will have a
corresponding spanish, english, and german version. Author, date, etc will be
the same, but all content will be available in multiple locales. Similarly for
polls, events, and other content.

2) support for multi-domain website systems. if 2 or more websites are hosted
on the same server, certain portions of content may be shared between the
sites, yet each site may have unique features, content and design.

Much design techniques will be borrowed from Drupal (drupal.org). Drupal
appears to be a very simple, yet powerful and flexible CMS. However, due to
the nature of the 2 special features of this CMS, a complete database
refactoring would be necessary to make a branch of Drupal that supported said
features.

Other Software Required:
php, any database system (mysql, postgresql, etc), webserver (e.g. apache)
