Eric Heintzmann <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: Securized Share Protocol Pack
System name: ssp-pack
Type: non-GNU

Description:
The SSP-Pack project aim to define a new peer to peer file-sharing protocol :
the SSP protocol whose objective is the share of data between clients (peer to
peer) in a reliable and securized way, regardless of source and target
platforms.
For more details see at :
http://eh666.free.fr/SSP-Pack/protocol.txt
A French version of this document can be found at:
http://eh666.free.fr/SSP-Pack/protocole.fr.txt

We also want to implement a GNU/Linux server (in C) and several clients.
At the begining there will a C/XFree client for GNU Systems and a free Java one
for Free Java environment(gcj/gij).
The source code (pre-alpha) of the server is available at
http://eh666.free.fr/SSP-Pack/
There is no clients source code for clients yet.

Other Software Required:
Free Java environment (gcj/gij) for the java client.(no Swing)
First GNU client will use Xlib and probably Tk.
