You should use the cvs remove command for that... 
 
Do you have a specific reason to hard remove it. 
 
(You still can do what you want, but we -- the 
savannah-hackers -- don't want to interfere with managing 
projects)

I don't know if it is the right place for this request
but could you hardremove in gurlchecker cvs repository
the "gui" directory
(http://savannah.nongnu.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs/gurlchecker/gurlchecker/gui/)?
