Per Cederberg <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: Mibble MIB Parser
System name: mibble
Type: non-GNU

Description:
Mibble is an SNMP MIB parser library written in Java. It supports
SNMP MIB files, as well as simple ASN.1 files. It does not (yet)
provide any useful stand-alone program, but rather a couple of
simple examples demonstrating how the library can be used from
within other programs.

The project is currently under heavy refactoring (with a name
change), replacing the non-free parser generator originally used
with Grammatica 1.0. The library itself runs without any non-free
dependencies, it is only the tool for generating the parser in
the build process that is non-free. The code compiles without
that tool installed, however. The previous distribution is
available here:

http://www.percederberg.net/home/java/mibparser/mibparser.html

It may yet take some weeks before the rewrite to the new parser
library is complete.

Other Software Required:
Java JDK 1.3 (only parts compatible with gcj)
Grammatica 1.0 (hosted here on Savannah)
