Thanks for the report. I close this report has we already
have lot of reports to deal with for sftp.

I know you are already aware of problems with sftp, so
I just thought I might share this in case it helps.
Basically, the program stops to ask me for a password
(which I don't have), and then refuses access. The
session went as follows (p.s. cvs and scp works okay,
but see #102244):
