A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
John Darrington <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: GNUbik
System name: gnubik
Type: GNU
Description:
GNUbik is an Mesa/OpenGL based puzzle game. It displays a `magic cube', like
that invented by Erno Rubik. It compiles and runs very nicely with GTK+ and the
Gnome environment, but if you don't have that, it'll compile fine with bare X11
system (but you still need Mesa or OpenGL ).
You can specify your own colours or even images for the sides of the cube. The
GTK+ version is fully internationalised and has some bells and whistles
The existing code is at http://sv.gnu.org/project/rubik
Other Software Required:
GTK+-2.0
Mesa/OpenGL
gtkglext
Other Comments:
This project (formerly called rubik) has recently been `dubbed GNU software' by
RMS. It was necessary to change it's name from rubik to GNUbik for legal
reasons.
It'll probably be easiest if you simply rename sv.nongnu.org/project/rubik
to sv.gnu/project/gnubik
