I suggest you update the existing support request instead of creating 
tree.
I merged them. Check 
https://savannah.gnu.org/support/?group=administration

Then you should upload the second tarball you mentioned, since it was 
not uploaded.

Last, I need a way to authentify the tarballs. I suggest you upload 
your GPG key to your account (is it 'sperber'?) at 
https://savannah.nongnu.org/account/change.php?item=gpgkey, and also 
attach signatures for the tarballs to the support request.
