You probably already know this but...
It is virtually impossible to get through to subversions.gnu.org with cvs/ssh.
It has been like that for at least 8 hours.
I have seen CVS report "cannot fork, cannot allocate memory" or some such.
http://savannah.gnu.org doesn't respond either.
