    We now know Savannah|Savane is well maintained and not unsecure.

Our sysadmins reached a different conclusion; I am following their
judgment in saying that Savane is not maintained securely in a way
that we can use.

I don't have time to try to study the code myself, nor time to learn
the background knowledge our sysadmins already have.  I will rely on
their judgment.

My arm (which was broken, and had surgery) got infected.  I got out of
the hospital Monday and left for a 6-week trip in Europe on Tuesday.
I am far behind, so please don't ask me to spend any more time on
this.
