Hello,I think the best would be to work on a port of your library to the GNU/Linux system, so it could be used under both operating systems. You could either learn how to do it, or try to find somebody interested in doing it with you.
I do not know whether there is comprehensive documentation or a mailing-list for this process (some Savannah hacker help me!), but if you give us a description of your application, I am sure we will be able to point you to some appropriate sites and tools.
You can also try to post an "Help Wanted" item at Savannah (I think you need a Savannah account for this) so as to find somebody to help you.

Do you have an alternative site or other suggestions that can host free software with dependencies on non-free operating systems. I am sorry I could not write any of the code in linux/unix because I dont know how, so I left it all in visual c++ for windows. It does not download or install propriety software, but it does run on a propriety system as a library utility used by free and non-free compilers. I understand you can not encourage users of free systems to start using proprietary operating systems. But any ideas you have would be appreciated. Thanks.
