Past week:

 * Wrote to five old volunteers and to the GNU evaluation team in order
to get man power for projects submissions reviews. Xavier Nicolovici
and Thorsten Sauter are now working on them, requiring us to checkup
their work in a first time; Mridul Jain showed interest but it not
   active yet.
 * Work on 'Hacking Savannah': cleanup and write of chapter 9 about
projects approval, so as to give reference for new volunteers
 * Discussed:
        - strategy to update a Savane installation patched with our
local changes, while keeping seemless integration to the
          upstream facility
        - savannah-announce initial subscriptions
        - approval policies with RMS (updated savannah.el)
        - work organization for new volunteers
 * Fixed a possible exploit whereby project admins were able upload PHP
scripts to their project's download area and then execute them.
 * Investigated why Apache and MySQL stopped responding on Monday. The
services were unavailable for a number of hours, but were finally
brough back up at approximately 19:30 GMT.
 * Fixed broken upload service (a renamed project was improperly
   regenerated, causing a fatal errorsavannah-upload)
 * Processed projects confirmations, reviewed several projects
registrations (currently, 547 requests in the queue | 25 (9
confirmed & 16 new) total pending | 48 being reviewed)
 * And as usual replied to numerous support requests (SSH connection
problems, requests for log_accum manual installation...)

Upcoming week:

 * Upgrade to Savane, while maintaining a temporary patchset (2-3
hours long downtime planned on august 21st)
 * Finish reviewing currenly pending projects hosting requests, and
   plan old unconfirmed requests deletion
