I am not aware of that policy (it is not in maintain.texi either). In the
current setup, it is up to each list owner to decide whether to accept posts
from non-members.
Glad everything works now.

Summary: address@hidden list rejects all my posts
Original Submission: Although I have been able to post to all of the dozens of
gnu.org mailing lists I am a member of, address@hidden
always rejects anything I post. The list owner doesn't know
why, or how to fix it.

I had thought that it was gnu policy to allow non-member posts on @gnu.org
lists?
But you are right about my subscription address, I don't know why I didn't
think of that myself... I had subscribed from my home address already (for
delivery speed, and to reduce load on the gnu servers), and now I have just
added a second subscription as address@hidden, but disabled delivery. I've
just posted successfully to the list with that configuration.
Thanks for your help!
~Gary.

As far as I see, address@hidden is not a member of gnu-arch-users, and
non-member posts are automatically rejected in this list (this can be
configured).
I suppose you are registered using a different e-mail address, and replied
using address@hidden
Try to register address@hidden, or post using the adress you are registered
with, or see if gnu-arch-users wants to accept non-members posts (including
spam..).
Tell me if everything is ok then.
