Bruno Kleinert <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: zlib
Other License:
Package: foocube
System name: foocube
Type: non-GNU

Description:
"foocube" is a 3d first-person multiplayer game, forked from the game "Cube" by
Wouter van Oortmerssen. foocube is licensed under the zlib license. Apart from
the original cube, i want to integrate un*x specific enhancements, a source
cleanup for newer versions of the gcc. a port for win32 will follow. the main
target is to make foocube follow the debian free software guidelines, and to
make it easy for linux distributions to build packages.

foocube is written in c/c++ and uses opengl through the SDL- and SDL-image
library for graphics acceleration. Sound is handled by the SDL mixer library.
at the moment, the sources are testet with linux only.

a source tarball can be found here:
http://wwwcip.informatik.uni-erlangen.de/~sibrklei/foocube/src/foocube-20040914.tar.bz2

Other Software Required:
opengl libraries
libsdl
libsdl-image
libsdl-mixer
