Description:
SpécialK is a normilization of the rules-based functionnal language
created and used by Emmanuel Kounalis (hence the 'K') in second and
third year of computer science at the university of Nice. This
language's aim is teaching computer science and is designed for
writing simple algorithms in a concise way with easy manipulation of
lists, trees or tables. Applications development and industry-biaised
features are not part of our goals.

SpécialK is a SpécialK to Scheme compiler

DrScheme (www.drcheme.org) is originally a programmation environnement
for the Scheme language. However, it is now possible to use all its
functionalities for several languages. Among others, it offers a
robust text editor, syntax coloring, execution control, profiler, etc.

The SpécialK plugin allow you to test SpécialK algorithms without
having to translate them to Scheme - it does it for you! You use
DrScheme as usual, but instead of typing Scheme, you type SpécialK.

SpécialK is an experimental langage for DrScheme

For some times, DrScheme is a multi-language platform, like Emacs
for editing, but also for executing code. Version 207 comes with
among others languages Algol60 and ProfessorJ (Java). SpécialK adds
itself to this list.

SpécialK also comes with a complete documentation on the language and
its libraries.
