I checked out the latest CVS version of hgterm. I did not find a copy of
GPL v2 license. Also, all files larger than 10 lines should include
copyright and permission-to-copy notices. But you have not made any
releases; so, I guess, it may not matter much right now. Please see
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-howto.html for more information. 

Otherwise, I approve your project as non-GNU.
