Sorry for the delayed responce. I would recommend that it is still very similar to the original name. We recommend that you either contact the KidBoard site and ask if there is a problem in that name, or change to something which is different enough it wouldn't be confused.

Hello again,

I have chosen a new name: Kid Chess Board. I have already changed it. The system name had better be 'kidchessbd'. Could you change it for me? Google doesn't find these names, so I assume they are "unique enough".

Regards,
Antonio

Hello,
I would recommend changing your project name then to avoid confuse, even though they don't appear to have a trademark on it. If you wish you change your projects short name, I can do it for you. On the second question: orginiziation of a project is left to it's members, you need to work it out w/ them.

Hi,

Thanks for approving my project. I agree with your suggestion to replace 'Linux' by 'GNU/Linux' when referring to the O.S. I like using accurate words for things.

By the way, I've just found that there is a site for a different 'KidChess' (www.kidchess.com). I've known of it after creating my project. Do you think there can be a problem with the name?

Just another question: who makes final decisions when there is a conflict in a project? The project administrator (myself in this case)? What happens if there are several project administrators? I am asking about the worst case, but I am pretty sure I will not find any problems -it's just in case.

Regards,
Antonio Ceballos

Hi, I've evaluated the project you submitted for approval in Savannah.

Just for a clarification, Linux is just a kernel of a more complex system that we like to refer to as GNU/Linux, to emphasize the ideals of the Free Software movement.

Would you mind changing references to Linux as an OS to GNU/Linux?

I have approved your project. You will receive an automated e-mail
containing detailed information about the approval.

Michael Casadevall
