Follow-up Comment #1:

Savane only supports a retricted set of languages, and falls back to english.
There's currently no support for separately supporting dates when there isn't
a matching locale.

Would you mind submitting a bug at project Savane (https://gna.org/p/savane)
about this? This isn't specific to the Savannah platform itself :)
