Follow-up Comment #4, sr #107201 (project administration):

I apologize, I meant that I'm using the cvs command you gave me rather than
ssh. I don't have any projects that I'm part of right now, but I thought I'd
try anyway. I hesitated to start a dummy project for fear that people would
try to join. So, what I did instead was use the anonymous example and
substituted my name into it, along with the "ext:". As you know, this didn't
work. 

Do I have any options? I probably should have gone with my gut and joined a
project before I tried any of this.
