Details:

hi-
I am a 'first-timer', running macosX 10.4.11, a usbtiny programmer, and
trying to run avrdude-5.10. Everything appears to have installed correctly.
When I try to run avrdude I get the error message :

error at avrdude.conf:320 unrecognized character: "a"

This is the avrdude.conf that came from the tar file, I haven't tried to
alter it in any way. I counted down to line 320, and don't see anything
strange. Where do I look?
