Which strread function are you refering to?

The support forum you used is dealing with administrative
request for the Savannah FSF project hosting platform.

If your question concerns a particular software then you'll
have to ask your question on the tracker/mailing list of this
particular project.

It looks like this function 'strread' may be found in GNU Octave
